ST. MARY’S ACADEMY OF CALOOCAN CITY (SMACC) is a Catholic, Filipino faculty owned and administered by the sisters of the religious of The Virgin Mary (RVM). Yee, RVM was appointed the varsity Directress of St. Mary’s Academy. the subsequentyear, SMACC had S. Ma. Teresita S. Catacutan, RVM because the head. School year 2009 – 2010 marked the sixtieth instauration day of remembrance of the varsity. S. Ma. Andrea L. Yee, RVM, served because the Directress/ Principal, and beneath her leadership, the varsity gained a recertification of ISO 9001:2008. In School year 2010-2011, SMACC continues to soar higher for excellence. It underwent another PAASCU re-accreditation. With the conjunct efforts and diligence of the establishment, another five-year Certificate of Accreditation-Level II was awarded to the varsity. From academic year 2011-2012 to 2013-2014, S. Ma. Paula G. Adaoag, RVM was appointed the varsityDirectress of SMACC. In her second year as faculty directress, the varsity has another time launched into the implementation of another academic reform set by the Department of Education, the improved Basic Education Act of 2013 or the K to twelve program. One with the state in orienting our instructional system with worldstandards, SMACC extended its K to twelve providing within the Grade one and Grade seven levels severally. Under the new leadership of S. Ma. Evelyn C. Aguilar, RVM as new Directress/Principal, SMACC can begin its new journey with the pilot implementation of the Grade twelve program for college year 2017 - 2018.
